1. MD with Board Certification in Oncology/Immunology or those with science degree and directing/managing experience in clinical research and development
2. 6 years minimum experience in clinical practice treating patients and/or pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry experience as a sponsor working on investigational new drugs
3. Multiple years of management experience leading a clinical group including clinical/medical affairs and clinical operations
4. A proven success record in Phase I-IV clinical research studies and trial design as well as the successful submission of IND’s and marketing approval-directed filings (BLA’s, NDA’s, and MAA’s)
- Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing therapeutic area / product expertise for the Oncology field. He/she will design and develop clinical plans and protocols based on knowledge of the disease area and science in order to meet regulatory and disease strategy targets. Work closely with team members globally, stakeholders, and governance bodies to translate protocol strategy into objectives and action plans. Participate in medical marketing, clinical development, and communication activities.
- Job Description:
1. Direct the development of clinical strategies and plan to integrate the Company’s compounds into the standard practice of oncology
2. Orchestrate and manage clinical aspects of regulatory strategies and interactions with Health Authorities
3. Oversee the analysis and interpretation of clinical trial data and the reporting of clinical trial results
4. Provide clinical support and work with other members of the management team to develop and communicate the overall corporate strategy
5. Keep abreast of medical and scientific developments in oncology by continuously reviewing literature in the field, monitoring competitor activities, networking with experts and attending conferences
