Job Description
Defect Analyst Engineer assists Testing Manager in all testing functions and processes.
They oversee and performing defects analysis of the testing in large projects.

The responsibilities of a Defect Analyst Engineer include:
• Join daily scrum meetings and provide precise work progress update
• Assist Testing Manager in management, implementation and enforcement of the Defect Management processes and procedures
• Ensuring all defects are entered, categorized correctly and controlled / managed as effectively as possible through their lifecycle
• Troubleshoot issues encountered during testing and assist groups in problem analysis
• Familiar with defects/issues tracking tools including Git, Jira
• Write scripts to aid comparison of the testing result and simplify operations procedures
• Prepare /review & organizing project documents and files
• Translate documents, defects/issues in Jira/Git between English and Chinese (bi-direction)
• Communication with WW support team in written and orally on the problem determination and resolution
• Urgent support needed

需求條件 / Key Requirements

Qualification
• Bachelor¡¦s degree required
• Good writing and speaking in both Chinese and English.
• Proficiency in Linux and shell script
• Fundamental Database, SQL Query Knowledge in Oracle
• General knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Organized and focused
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
• multi-tasking, and deadline driven
