Key Responsibilities:
o Meet regularly with assigned suppliers to review all Purchase Orders (PO) placed by MSFT, assure compliance and supportability
o Meet regularly with assigned suppliers to review forecasts and align on future supportability
o Manage supplier metrics including but not limited to on-time delivery, PO cycle time, deviation, reliability, and delivery discrepancies by each supplier to improve performance
o Manage escalations to Supply Chain and Sourcing teams to ensure POs are not blocked nor rejected by supplier
o Communicate delivery and tracking information to regional supply hubs
o Ensure key attributes such as pricing, lead-times, minimum order quantities are updated in key Microsoft tools to minimize PO blockage and supplier rejections
o Identify process improvement opportunities and work with cross functional teams to improve tools and processes to better meet our global requirements
Basic Qualifications:
o 3-5 years in Electronics manufacturing supply planning or similar role
o Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, or related field
o Broad knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes (PCBA’s) and logistics
o Procure to Pay management experience
o Inventory management experience
o Basic proficiency with MS Office Applications, focus on Excel and PowerPoint
o Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications:
o Direct experience in electronics assembly and server industry
o Deep understanding of Supply Planning elements, tools, and processes
o Proven track record in delivering change, process improvement, and lean manufacturing solutions
o Experience with MRP/ERP systems, including material planning specific software such as SAP or Oracle
o Expert level with MS Office Applications, focus on Excel and PowerPoint
o Fluent in Mandarin
o Spares and Warranty experience is a plus
