職務說明 / Key Responsibilities
Job Specification:
1. Responsible for developing and implementing environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs for Taiwan,
a. with the objective to proactively reduce risks and;
b. ensure compliance with Taiwan relevant EHS laws and regulations and HP EHS standards
c. promote the EHS awareness and reduce the EHS risk in HP Taiwan.
2. Work with the business units and Suppliers/contractors/Subcontractors to ensure the implementation of HP EHS management system and standards.
3. Provides expertise to various business units, teams and participate in cross-functional initiatives/activities and programs.
4. Track, review, consult and implement EHS laws regulations, promulgated by country, province and local regulatory authorities for all work activities, including those at customer sites.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that the site’s overall environmental health and safety performance in compliance with local laws, follows legal, company requirements at site.
2. Participate in regular meetings, communicate on the existing EHS issues, and work out action plan for these existing EHS issues and ensure effectiveness and focus on continuous improvement.
3. Organize and conduct regular EHS inspection to discover potential EHS risk, follow up relevant corrective actions till effective closure.
4. Be responsible for convening Emergency Response Team members and implementing Emergency Response Plan.
5. Be responsible for incident and injury reporting, investigating and corrective actions, and follow up corrective and preventive actions and ensure effective closure.
6. Be responsible for identifying and forecasting EHS training needs and ensure the completion of EHS training for relevant employees. Deliver EHS training to staff as required by laws and regulations.
7. In charge of contractor/supplier management and ensure all contractor/supplier follow local law, HP EHS standards and requirements
8. Participate in the process of the project of office renovation and management of change of use, innovation so as to make sure these projects to meet EHS requirements
9. Get directive from HP EHS Country EHS Lead when liaising with external authorities, such as the work safety bureau, fire bureau, and environmental protection bureau on EHS issues and HP EHS is the point of contact for those external agencies.
10. Coordinate and help solve relevant work safety, health and fire safety issues with the Property Management Company, Landlord and Business Units.
11. Support Business Units to conduct the risk assessments and review.
12. Review and submit the site-specific legal EHS data and document to related external authorities including environmental disposal Plan, Fire protection plan, Fire drill report, safety rules, Occupational safety and health plan, chemical reporting, hazardous waste reporting, incident reporting, Soil and groundwater pollution reporting…etc.
13. Be familiar with EHS audit process and conduct the EHS audit as necessary.
14. Coordinate and help solve relevant work safety, health, fire safety and environmental issues with CREWS and Business Units.
15. Carry out EHS activities to enhance EHS culture in HP and employee EHS awareness.
16. Review and update EHS related management documents.
17. Support the EHS management at Taipei site.
18. Other EHS relevant work as required and necessary.

Education and Experience Required
1. First level university degree in science required, with safety engineering, environmental engineering or chemistry recommended.
2. Hold valid license with Passed in the required Class A and/or Class B skill category of Labor Health Management, Taiwan Government
3. 2-5 years of environmental, health and safety experience required
4. Attended the required Taiwan Labor Ministry Occupational Safety and Health Education and Training Rules.
Knowledge and Skills
1. Sound knowledge of EHS legislation as it relates to Taiwan, Republic of China.
2. Excellent technical abilities.
3. Excellent communication skills, including English.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Strategic thinking, planning, and business acumen.
6. Ability to operate in complex, high stress environments.
7. Ability to provide guidance and direction to others with good project management skills
8. Good knowledge on implementing, understanding rules and regulations of the Safety and Health Standards related to Air Emission, Noise, Waste & Water, Laboratory management, Industrial Hygiene, Workplace Ergonomic, Fire Safety, Training and ISO Systems.
9. Trained Internal Auditor or Qualified Lead auditor certificate for ISO 14k/45K Management System
10. Trained and qualified in First Aider and good knowledge in Fire Safety management
11. Desire certificates should preferably have:
a. Certified Professional Ergonomist / Associate Ergonomics Professional or at least any local diploma in ergonomics.
b. Certified Industrial Hygienist / Certificate Associate Industrial Hygienist or at least any local diploma in industrial hygiene
c. ISO14K/OHSAS18K/ISO45K internal audit certificate with preferably certificate in training and adult learning – any local training would be accepted.
