職務說明 / Key Responsibilities
Day to Day Responsibilities:
•Provides leadership in problem solving, and technical expertise, to ensure timely resolution of short-term process and equipment issues, and higher level troubleshooting
•Provides direction to other technicians / engineers, coaches junior engineers, and provides guidance to maintenance personnel
•Provides general engineering and manufacturing skills and knowledge (understands theories and fundamentals), and capable of leading projects to get to root cause of issues, and put permanent solutions in place
•Provides disciplined project leadership across multiple stages of innovation for new product, process, cost reduction and capacity improvement initiatives
•Recommends and implements permanent solutions to long term performance issues, and improves existing and new technologies and processes
•Develops and leads some areas of the manufacturing and/or technical roadmap. Documents material, process and/or equipment to protect and contribute to Intellectual Property improvements
•Proficient in use of statistical data analysis and DOE in process problem solving and process/product improvement
•Identifies, justifies, and implements cost reduction, capacity enhancement, capital equipment and other improvement initiatives
•Introduces new products and technologies
•Meets all Environmental, Safety and Health requirements
•Develops SME knowledge of material, process and/or equipment in focused areas of manufacturing or engineering
•Tracks the effectiveness of projects and implemented cost reductions, using up-time, cost, productivity, and other appropriate measures
•Is a leader and Subject Matter Expert (SME) in process control/discipline, SPC, SQC, OEE, Designed Experiments, and other Performance Excellence processes (Green and Black-belt skills)
•Designs and/or specifies new equipment or modifies existing equipment to continuously improve process performance. Coordinates installation, debugging and initial operation of new equipment and systems Implement and enforce procedures for maintaining a safe work environment.
Project involved with:
•Cost Reduction / Cost Modeling / Unit Cost Reduction
•Process Quality Architecture for process control of mold build & injection molding.
•Provides complete, accurate and timely documentation and training for all projects implemented

Required Skills:
•Process control and process improvement with tool used (SPC, QC Flow Chart, etc.)
•Can take routine data retrieval and analysis and develop a standard methodology.
•Seeks process variability reduction and drives to root causes of special cause variation.
•Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to facilitate problem solving teams and delegate tasks to others in the pursuit of a solution.
•Results oriented and committed to deliver.
•Able to handle multiple complex tasks and set priorities with multiple internal customers.
•Has a thorough understanding of and can practice Process Control and Discipline.
•Can discern when to follow SOP, and when SOP no longer applies, and additional stakeholder input may be necessary.
•Demonstrated leadership or strong teamwork in accomplishing common goals.
•practical experience with basic statistics, a track record of identifying sources of variation.
•Production or technical supervisory experience. DMAIC (or Six Sigma) green belt certification. Knowledge of injection molding and mold engineering
•Manufacturing experience and ability to work in a manufacturing environment
•Manufacturing management system implementation (ERP, MES, etc.)
•Engineering software and tools, including CAD software, simulation tools, and project management software
