General Job Description:
Provides general administrative support to senior leader and cross-function workgroups, coordinate and lead Public Affairs activities in Taiwan. Exercises discretion and independent judgement in managing flow of work. Requires full proficiency gained through job-related training and on-the-job experience to perform a range of tasks under limited supervision.
Responsibilities/Duties
• Provides secretarial/administrative support to country manager and cross-function work groups.
• Leads and coordinates public affairs activities.
• Participates as an active team member on entire projects and can complete projects independently. Finds ways to improve project/team efficiency. Works with minimal direction to produce quality results.
• Administrative point of contact with the ability to rapidly establish rapport within workgroup, leadership, and clients, internal and external. Proactive approach to problem solving. Ability and knowledge to answer business/function questions and take appropriate actions in the absence of the Leader.
• Uses business software applications to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, etc. Stays up to date on changing technology (e.g., Microsoft Office). Ability to quickly learn new internal electronic systems, and to share knowledge with others.
• Independently schedules meetings and events, books conference rooms, orders food/drink, escorts and manages visitor / guest process.
• Arranges business travel, coordinates internal meetings and event arrangements, and/or tracks expenses.
Qualifications
• Proficient in written and verbal English
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, capable to interact with diverse people professionally
• A good team player, with effective coordination skills
• A proactive and active learner
• Good at MS Office applications
• Multi-national company work experiences
• 7+ years in administrative support and cross-function coordination
