[Team/Position Description]
LINE Taiwan is looking for legal counsel, as an in-house legal consultant, to support its operations in Taiwan as well as the global collaboration with its affiliates and partners.
[Responsibilities]
l Provide qualified legal service and consultation to various departments and business teams, including corporate law issues, digital platform issues, dispute resolution, various service advisory and local legal research.
l Review legal documents (including contracts, mostly in English) relating to LINE Taiwan business and/or its affiliates business, provide the adequate comments accordingly and make applicable modification for the best interest of company but also accommodating the business needs.
l Handle regulatory matters, government inquiries and investigations relating to LINE Taiwan and/or its affiliates business.
l Support of legal administrative affairs

Basic Qualifications:
l A law related degree with proficiency in English, verbal and written.
l An attorney license in Taiwan/US or in other country is a plus.
Experiences:
l 3-7 years of legal practice in law firms and/or in-house is required.
l Work experience in internet/software-related business is preferred.
Other Requirements:
l Strong written and spoken communication skill and willingness to be a team player.
l Well-organized and able to manage and execute numerous projects simultaneously in a timely manner.
l Flexibility and willingness to work on various topics from the complex matters to daily routine tasks.
l Proactive in taking on responsibilities and deliver results.
l Must be able to adapt to working in a fast-paced environment.
l Must be able to co-work with related cross-functional global teams.
