Position Overview
The Inside Sales Representative (Automotive) is responsible for supporting business growth with automotive OEMs, Tier 1, and Tier 2 customers through proactive sales coordination, customer relationship management, and operational excellence. This role plays a key part in managing RFQs, supporting long design-in cycles, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless communication between customers and internal engineering, quality, and supply chain teams.
Key Responsibilities
1.Automotive Customer Engagement & Account Support
•Act as the primary internal contact for Taiwan customers.
•Respond to customer inquiries, manage RFQs, and provide timely commercial information (pricing, lead time, MOQ, sample status).
•Support account managers by preparing quotations, customer proposals, and commercial documentation.
•Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high responsiveness.
2. RFQ & Quotation Management
•Coordinate internal teams (engineering, quality, supply chain, costing, PM) to prepare accurate and competitive RFQ responses.
•Track quotation status, follow up with customers, and update internal stakeholders on progress.
•Ensure all quotations comply with automotive requirements (PPAP, IATF-16949 processes, part lifecycle planning). And working with TAM (Technical account management) team to define the specification requirements
3. Sales Operations & Order Management
•Process customer POs, schedule changes, forecasts, and EDI transactions.
•Monitor demand fluctuation (ramp-up, ramp-down) and work with planning teams to secure supply.
•Track order status, logistics arrangements, and delivery performance to ensure on-time delivery (OTD).
•Manage price validity, annual commercial negotiations support, and customer debit/credit processes.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
•Work closely with engineering, PM, NPI, and quality teams to support design-in cycles, sample builds, qualification stages, and SOP ramp-up.
•Support customer meetings, audits, and QBRs, including preparation of sales data and performance reports.
•Escalate critical issues such as shortages, quality concerns, or delivery risks with clear mitigation actions.

需求條件 / Key Requirements
Qualifications
Education & Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
•2–5 years of inside sales, account support, or technical engineers experience — automotive industry strongly preferred.
•Experience with OEM/Tier 1 customers, IATF-16949 processes, or automotive NPI cycles is a strong plus.
Skills & Competencies
•Strong communication skills for detailed customer and internal coordination.
•Familiarity with RFQ processes, BOM structures, and basic product understanding (e.g., displays, electronics, modules, mechanical parts).
•Ability to manage high-volume data, forecasts, and schedule changes.
•Proficiency in ERP/CRM systems, EDI processing, and Microsoft Excel.
•Strong problem-solving, sense of urgency, and attention to detail.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing customer demands.
Work Environment
•Office-based or hybrid depending on company policy.
•Occasional customer visits
• Collaboration with global teams (engineering, PM, supply chain).
